Students with tattoo

It is becoming a normal thing for a student has a tattoo or more, but yet again it brings curiosity as to what kind of a tattoo it "inappropriate or appropriate".
Most tattoos are inappropriate that they can cause disturbances to other students. Too explicit tattoos means that thier is need to take regulartory action.
But anyways , some tattoos are not explicit neither are they inappropriate but adorable , lovely and beautiful.
As long as the students behavior is okay they is no need to over think about their tattoo.

A school shouldn't dictate what someone does with their body - it is your body, not the school's. Schools are institutions of learning and should provide opportunities for that, not judgment that is based on different standards of society. What the school can and should monitor would be that students should wear clean and intact clothing that is suitable for studying, adhere to school policies grounded on merits, and provide students with an environment that is conducive to learning and knowledge.

There are some schools wherein they have a strict policy that no student should have a tattoo especially in a catholic school. But some schools like the public ones they are seemingly allowing it as long as it is not a big tattoo that is already covering their entire body.

Here is no rule for this, as I have said before students go dressed as they want to school, they also can have their hair colored in different colors, tattoos, different gadgets and no one will tell them nothing regarding their look.

I believe tattoos are tolerable as long as they don't display content that puts the student's and school's image at stake. Tattoos are a visual art for most and clearly, it is their body so we cannot control them for what they do with it. Let's not be meddlesome with this and just focus on teaching the students not only intellectually but as well as morally.

It's a form of discrimination to not allow students to have tattoos. I believe in saying that most bad persons aren't the one wearing tattoos, but the one wearing neckties.

Tattoos are already considered works of art and a form of self-expression. As long as it doesn't display any explicit content, we cannot control the students on what they do with their bodies. They have their freedom and it would surely crush their passion if we force them to remove art in their body.

I've always been an excellent student and yet I have a tattoo. Maybe it's a cultural thing but this has never even been considered a problem for me or any of my teachers. My tattoos do not stop me from learning, they don't have any effect on my mind.

Everyone is entitled to do whatever they wish with their own bodies. Having a tattoo or even a piercing is part of one's freedom. The students aren't hurting anyone by having a tattoo and they certainly musn't be forced to cover themselves up just because close-minded school employees think so. Nowadays people don't have to put a picture on their CVs to prevent employers from discriminating and the same should be done in schools and universities. Tattoos do not determine or dictate a person's capability to learn and to act properly.

The tattoo is a growing concern among educators here because it is getting popular. Maybe the tattoo is in fashion because of the actors and athletes who are sporting tattooes on their arms and body. The tattoo has no place in the school but what can the school do to a student who has a tattoo that is conspicuously displayed on the arm or on the neck? Take note that the parents can file a complaint against the school authorities if they sanction the student for the tattoo. I guess this is a topic for a debate.

Having Tattoos on the body is a growing trend these days, not only in the students but also amongst the grown-ups. I would say that a small tattoo which is creative and is not very offensive in nature should be allowed. Most of the times the teenagers have the habit of getting such tattoos on there arms or legs, etc. However, if a student takes it to the extreme and has multiple tattoos on his or her body, then such a thing should not be allowed by the School authorities as it may influence other students.

I agree that there are extreme tattoos and artistic tattoos but I don't think the school should allow any kind of tattoo. As you said it is a trend and what happens when the trend changes and is back to the clean complexion? That happened so many times when the trend would suddenly change without warning. Anyway, I still do not think that tattoo should be allowed for students. FYI there is an unwritten rule with the HR department of big companies not to hire applicants with a tattoo.

students can have tattoos but having it in the arm or neck is hard to cover and is a bit inappropriate for the school and since the student is representing the school by wearing the school body uniform it just gives off this bad image of the school. Having tattoos is not a problem as long it is unseen so that the teachers or any one won't get scared or bothered by it.
