All Ages Why do you love art?

My whole life has always been bent towards art. I've always been the creative one in the family. I've associated myself with fashion, photography, music, film, etc.

I've always had the need to express myself in the world, so I love art.

Why do you guys love art?

I love art because of the creativity behind it. I come from an artistic family so we're always creating something of some sort. Whether it's singing, playwriting, sculpting or acting, we do it and LOVE to do it! It's a beautiful process to me and it takes extremely talented individuals to achieve it.

I have never thought about whether I love art or not. I just need to create something every day. I work with glass and metal. My friends are creative people, and my life has always evolved around making something new every week, or working on some project. As a matter of fact, I can't remember a time when I wasn't engaged in learning some new artistic skills, working on some new pieces, or teaching others the techniques that I am familiar with.

I love it because I want to give life to my ideas, I guess. I've always had this tendency of buying sketchbooks simply so I could have a clean sheet to draw on whenever I feel like imagining a situation - and creating it for real. The feeling is amazing, especially when you get to draw the thing you've always wanted to draw - or something even better.

I love art because of the innovation and creativity. Anything that comes to mind has the potential to be created. It awakens the ability to do anything we desire, anything that comes to our head can be put into reality.

I remember when I used to be not-so-art-savvy and would think of amazing designs and ideas that I wanted to put down, just couldn't because I wasn't artistic enough. Now I've gotten to the point where I can imagine some crazy concept and put down on paper and just admire it for weeks. There is no better feeling.

I love art because I love beautiful things. These beautiful things can be specific to my taste, no one else may like them, but I like them. Art is a personal thing. I love painting, I love photography, I love music. There is art everywhere, so much to appreciate.

I love art because it allows an outlet for all of my emotions and ideas. Simply letting ideas and emotion pent up inside me only make me feel anxious. I also love to express myself beyond numbers and science. I want to maintain a balance in my life, between logic and art.

Art is freedom. When I write, I can create vast universes with entirely new people, places, histories, and stories. When I draw, I can weave pencil lines into something tangible and real, visually releasing my imagination into the world. When I play music (primarily guitar, violin, and piano), I string together notes and beats together into flowing melodies and verses. When I make art, I like to think that I am taking all that I have learned, heard, seen, and imagined, and making something new and wonderful to inspire others.

I love art because it's what makes me feel alive. Without art, life would be very dull, and extremely boring. Without art, I wouldn't feel inspired, and motivated to go on with life.

I love art because it gives me something where I can unleash my feelings, it is the same with writing. I can take everything that is bottled up inside and put it on paper. It is relaxing and in a way I class it as meditation. I am trying to pass on to my son the love I have for art but everyone is different. I love it as a hobby and as a release. It is something that isn't work or family for me but something specifically for myself which I personally believe everyone should have whether it be walking or painting.

It is the source, the beginning and the ending of any creativity sparkle inside of us. We are art. Everything is art that you can see, feel, experience. Everything is someone's piece of art. Everyone is someone's piece of art. I love art because you create something out of nothing, you add your personality, imagination, creativity into nothingness, creating something extraordinary. Art is life.

I Love art because it is one platform that momentarily distracts one from real life. Art stimulates deeper reflection of the issues of life from an emotionally detached position. An example is political cartoons and caricatures. Art also has a humorous side to it for soothing the senses. It has therefore a therapeutic value and is an antidote for depression.

I think it's the ultimate expression of ourselves. It really relaxes me, I know if I have a tough week that it will always be there for me.

Art basically frees you from structure and preconceived notions that seem to plague and trap many mindsets. Art widens your horizon and lets you express yourself in a manner and method you're accustomed to. The great thing about Art is that it transcends boundaries and there's no set of rules for it, no right or wrong.

To me, art is the best way to express yourself without using any words. Sometimes you can feel the emotions of someone just by looking at their art, and that's such a powerful thing to me. Art can also sometimes give you idea. When you thought you've reached a dead end, you can sometimes get past through it just by witnessing someone's art

Ho-ho, what a loaded question.

For me, art has always been a means of escaping from reality. Ever since I was a kid, I've loved it. Drawing, language arts, performing and visual arts--all have a special place inside my heart.
Art helped me overcome so many dark times in my life. It's helped me express emotions and ideas much more fully than just words. And for those moments when I didn't have words,
pictures and movement opened new pathways of communication.

A professor once asked me this question: "Is art life? Or is life an art?" To this very moment, I believe that art is indeed life. Art shows up in all things. We simply need to see it.

Something I have always been blessed with is the ability to draw. I love it because I can bring people joy and make someone's day with a simple drawing.

Congratulations to you angelicacagapit! You are welcome to the world of arts. You are an artist. I also love arts.

Why I love art? Because art is not limited to just visuals like drawing, painting, or photography, it can also be physical or audible. For me art is an expression of the innermost feelings and workings of the soul manifested in the human body. For ordinary people art is just a piece of work or an ordinary drawing, picture, or painting but for an artists it is a master piece.
