Mine is William Lane Craig. He is an expert in the philosophy of time and issues relating to the existence of God. Personally I love wrestling with both topics because everyone has an opinion about them. Time is fun to talk about and compare to movies like Bill and ted's excellent adventure or some star trek episodes. Existence of God issues are great because it is such a hot button issue.

So its good to have a go to scholar when encountering a new issue so Dr Craig is mine. How about you?

It's probably not the most creative answer, but I'm quite fond of Socrates. The Socratic method is just one of those things that piques my interest. I'd love to be able to use it on someone, but I've ever never had the right opportunity or I tried unsuccessfully to do so. Then again, I generally try to avoid arguments; when I do enter an argument, it's usually with someone who lacks the capacity for that kind of reasoning.

Rаwls is а hеrо оf minе. Rеаding (оr rаthеr, rе-rеаding) pаrts оf а Thеоry оf Justiсе саusеd mе tо rаdiсаlly rеvisе my оwn pоlitiсаl viеws (striсtly spеаking it wаs rеаding Jо Wоlff's disсussiоn оf Rаwls in his аn Intrоduсtiоn tо Pоlitiсаl Philоsоphy thаt stаrtеd оff thе rеvisiоn, but lеt's lеt thаt slidе). Rаwls' аrgumеnt аgаinst соnsеquеntiаlism (thаt it pеrmits sасrifiсing аnd ignоrеs thе sеpаrаtеnеss оf pеrsоns) I think is by fаr thе strоngеst аrgumеnt аgаinst соnsеquеntiаlism. His libеrаlism is prоfоundly humаnе аnd dесеnt. Thе оriginаl pоsitiоn is а wоndеrfully оriginаl idеа thаt will bе disсussеd, I bеliеvе, fоr hundrеds оf yеаrs tо соmе. еvеn his lеss pоpulаr wоrk suсh аs Lаw оf Pеоplеs I think is аbsоlutеly brilliаnt. а rеаlistiс visiоn fоr а just intеrnаtiоnаl оrdеr.

Well, my best philosopher is Karl Marx because he believes in a fair society for us all.

My role model has always been two US president but someone just moved me by making a historical stand in the recent impeachment trial in US Senate and that person is Mitt Romney.

Plato and Aristotle are the philosopher I can remember. I mean they are often the subject of discussion eversince were in elementary. They have ideas that are profound if one will simple think more about it.

My favorite philosopher is Socrates, because I love the way he think and I guess we are in the same ship where we have a same belief. He say that "Falling down is not a failure, Failure comes when you stay where you have fallen." That is so true, right? there is nothing wrong with failure, let's use our failure to make our self better. I love him, because he admits that people is made to fall, but it is our duty to stand up and continue the fight, if we are still falling, it is not yet over.

I fell in love with the French philosopher Rene Descartes, when I first learnt about his theory of absolute doubt —when he chose to doubt everything he's known or believed, as a means of finding what's real and what isn't.

It is recorded that during this moment, he had to doubt even his own existence; but what faced with a very big issue —he had to exist first before he could doubt his won existence. This lead to his much loved dictum, "I think, therefore I am".
