What is your favourite philosophy book?

That`s a really hard choice.... I could go for the works of Plato, or Aristotle, or any of the socratics, but I am guessing you are probably meaning modern texts. If that`s the case I will have to say that it is God is not Great by Christopher Hitchens, or The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. The reason why I list both of these is because they have amazing arguments and a great dissertation.

Sam Harris's book, The End of Faith, is also a good one. It's in the same vein as Hitchens' and Dawkins' books, and the three of them together are sort of seen as the fathers of Atheism. I'm not a militant Atheist, myself, but I really enjoy hearing intelligent arguments that I agree with.

It's probably going to be Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder. It's not really that difficult to grasp as it's just a light-read. It's a great book.

I would have to the ones that are more political in nature, just mostly because that is what I am more familiar with. In that case though I would say The Prince by Machiavelli. If I had to choose a philosopher though I guess you cannot go wrong with some Kant.
