Wow. This is really an interesting post. Thanks for sharing! :) I have always been fascinated with the Sistine Chapel, so this has been totally relevant, and informative.
 
I remember seeing Sistine channel for the first time in television. I was amazed by its beauty and allure even just from the TV screen. What more if I can see it in person? Goodness, that will be the day that I live and die!;p

Thank you for sharing this information. I think it's important to know the history of every place we get into. Seeing the architecture and design is one thing but actually knowing the reason for constructing it is another thing.
 
I often hear about the Sistine chapel whenever there is an election for a new pope. It is a striking architectural masterpiece by Michelangelo. I usually take more interest in the artist rather than the artistry. I wonder how art and design in Michelangelo's times could be so awe inspiring. The poignant question is, do schools have mentorship programmes to identify such talent?
