Idea for a comedic fantasy series

I had an idea for a fantasy series that would also be very funny. It would center around the Christian concept of angels and their day to day life. They would carry out their jobs, talk about the universe and maybe even break the fourth wall. And of course, there will be extraordinary events thrown in to make the story. Currently my main characters are a small group of angels; Zachariah, a stiff lipped, official seraphim who secretly has a heart of gold. Josephine, a cherubim who kind of toes the line between following and breaking the rules and has a playful romance with the devil. Metatron, the highest ranking seraphim and Zachariah's boss. Amitiel, the angel of truth who has soft feelings for Zachariah. Other angels and supernatural beings will come into play. God might make some cameo appearances.

Does that sound interesting at all?
 
Sounds interesting! Only flaw I would find or would call a flaw is the fact that it is based on Christianity, where I see many people hating on or may be offended by that you are basing a comedic series on a religion! I however would like to see this go on and see where it goes. :)

As a Christian myself, I find your concept interesting. You would be attempting to humanize angels which seems pretty cool. If you can post snippets of your series here, it would be greatly appreciated.
