All Ages Have you ever been injured in a PE class?

PE classes require you to exert effort and to use your body. It's a subject where athleticism and skill is being developed and tested. Thus, there would be times when a student would probably get injured. Fortunately I've never been injured in all of my PE classes. I did get a fever once when after playing a game basketball. I was shooting threes left and right. Our team captain didn't put me out the entire game. I probably got too exhausted and got a fever. :D

I never got injured during a P.E. class. My injuries are usually after classes. :P
I got injured in my right hand while I was playing volleyball with classmates when I was in elementary just after our P.E. class.

I was a clumsy child and often tripped while running, so I did not receive any injury that I did not bring upon myself. The worst that happened (that wasn't my fault) was when I got hit in the face in dodge-ball.

No, I was never injured in PE class. I loved PE and found it to be a great release for my stresses in school when I was younger. I love physical activity and I wish the schools had more health related classes for students to be involved in today's educational settings. We always had an hour per day of PE. I know the duration of PE courses have decreased over the past several years. I think this was a terrible mistake. We are surrounded with children who have health related issues that we did not have as a child. I know some people say it's the responsibility of the parents to keep their children healthy, but that way of thinking is not working and children are just getting heavier and more unhealthy.

I was never injured in my PE class, either. I wasn't the type to move around a lot and rarely engaged in activities that necessitated heavy physicality. I would have loved to join in on the muscle-flexing fun but due to a congenital ailment, I'm limited to non-hardcore bodily movements so bending, stretching and table tennis were all right.

I twisted my ankle in PE class while we were running around the track. The person in front of me, threw something on the ground that tripped me up. As I limped off the track and went over to the teacher, I was in a lot of pain. I thought it was broken. That night, it swelled up and my Mom took me to the ER. X-rays were taken. It was so swollen they had to redo the X-rays a few days later, because it didn't show anything. But, instead of a clean break that would have healed in a normal amount of time, it was a soft tissue injury and subsequently took many weeks to heal completely.

I have never been injured in a PE class, mainly because I was not the athletic type so I just participated in the class just enough to pass. I even remember getting a detention for my PE class which never showed up on my report of course.

I actually remember one incident in high school, i got hit smack in the nose with a football and since then have avoided any PE activity :) I have never overcome my fear of balls - I only had a nosebleed thank god but even that was enough to traumatize me lol

I never had any serious injury in PE class, but I remember, when we were playing volleyball, I got hit on the head by that volleyball. I thought I was going to pass out, but good thing that I didn't. I was actually pretty clumsy back then.

Thankfully, I've never experienced any injury during all my PE classes. I must admit that I'm not the most athletic person out there. In fact, I don't have any specific sport that I can be proud of. But I did tried my best in every PE class I had in elementary, high school and college as well. I haven't been hit by any ball during any type of sport we had. I did get hit but that's not in PE class, lol.
