I belief in God.
There is no way we would have existed on our own, as things don't just pop into existence.
Maybe it was the big bang that wrought our universe, or perhaps God. But how can we tell, as both claims to have brought this vast space we call universe into existence.
At this point I turn to science and logic.
To the third law of thermodynamics that says that action and reaction are identical but opposite.
It sounds too technical and may not make sense in getting the answer we need. Let's see the logic part.
After the logic that says that we don't have an effect without a cause comes a second one: "the nature of an effect is determined by that of the cause".
We are getting somewhere now.
If the universe is an effect of a cause, which between God and the big bang would have caused the universe. To put it another, is there a characteristi of the universe that attest to the character of its cause? Yes is the obvious answer.
There's consciousness in the universe.
There is morality.
There is personality
There is order
There is purposes and meaning.
Between God and the big bang which has these features?
You be the judge.
There are many sound arguments for God, as against the popular notion that makes the round that a believe in God is not logical. The above cited is but one.
