Surprisingly Sesame Street popped in my head and I heard the song I have not heard for decades! The song.. Anything you can do I can do better, I can do anything better than you. What came next was equally surprising to me. It was an affirmation my cousin shared with me as she was studying her BA many years ago.
It went like this....
I am better than no one and no one is better than me.
I loved and then and love it now.
My cousin is naturally humble but her course content tended to be changing her humble self. She felt it was necessary to have an affirmation that would diffuse the influence the content of her course was having on her.
I have encountered many who use affirmations successfully and am interested in hearing others success or failure stories as the case might be.
