Interesting question. Its hard to know but it might be possible that we are ether reborn or there is an universe where our souls take form and continue their life for ever.

Abandoning their life for the good of humanity, I think its the most noble reason anyone could do. Wish I could be one of those who changes the world and helps millions of people.
