This was a portrait of my best friend last year. It's fairly accurate, but it would do me well to have some feedback : ]

The first thing that strikes me is the symmetry--it is very good.

Thank you. I remember when I was first starting to draw, and noticed my symmetry was off. It was the first thing I ended up working on. It isn't displayed in this picture, but I practice getting eyes to be symmetrical for about 6 months, drawing nothing else. Practice practice practice as they say.

A good sketch. I can't draw at all. It may be just me but I like the neck ^^

Pencil crayon is always hard to master.

I agree, anything done by crayon or pencil is incredibly hard. Just drawing in those mediums takes lots of courage, and you seem to be working with them well. For me its hard to balance color with pencils so I've only gone so far as working with different hardness's of lead. I admire that you've done so well with color so soon.

I'd have to agree with the majority of the comments thus far. I don't know if you're a beginner or not, but either way, the symmetry and balance of the portrait is very good. Most individuals struggle particularly with the symmetry of the features (they may have a slightly bigger eye, or a nose that is too small, etc.) All features seem to be in proportion. I prefer pencil sketches myself, but that's because you can easily erase or cover up any mistakes. The fact that you did this in crayon means you had a very good idea of what you wanted and confidence to not make any mistakes. Good job.

Well, I would assume that you're a beginner, and since you're pretty new to drawing, I would say it's definitely a good sketch work. Just keep practicing, and I know you'll go far in the field of art. :)

That is a good sketch it's not easy to do faces. I like the fact that you used different colours that you might not expect in a picture of this type, well done.
