Teachers are now making use of videos teach in the class, and gradually it is gaining momentum worldwide.
The teacher will simply introduce the lesson and play the video for almost all the duration of the class.

While this has lessened the teacher's work, can we really say a pre-recorded video can do effectively what a does?

In some cases, maybe it can do more than a teacher does. Allowing students to repeat the same situation again and again. In some cases less, I think there is more to physical and chemical communication that we currently appreciate and I would like to see more research in this.
