In this digital age that we now see the state of condition of the people all over the world it is only right to introduce civic work to students. In one school inside our village they have a feeding program for the poor every first school day of the month. They will be going to public schools to give food to the poor students who cannot afford to eat nutritious food. That is opening the eyes of the young students to the state of life that there are poor students who need help.

It is always a good values to impart to children to help others especially the needy. This will teach a child to be concern and have awareness on what life is all about. I remember my values teacher before told us that there are kids who are wealthy that doesn't know that "slam area" exist. They were surprised when they went for a visit and have a community work. A child should learn to value and appreciate what they have since not everyone are lucky to have a good life.

It is a part of the training of the students in high school to tackle subjects related to community and civic works . Making the students aware of the concerns of the community and find solutions or take actions would make them complete or well- rounded individuals . It is very important that the school will build strong connections to the community so that exposure trip or immersion activity will be made possible.
