I remember I took one term of Political Science in high school as part of the elective class. I have known more than what I have expected because it involved a lot of citizenship-related topics such as current presidency and policies, democratic and republican differences, and etc. It helped me to gather all the information to be able to participate my editorial work in the school newspaper department. As an editor, it's essential to know at least a good amount of politics because it helps me to further understand what the government is made of and how it functions through variety of people. How does knowing politics is essential for you in school?

I would say it is important only because politics is something that affects you and your future. The people working in the government, city council, etc. and the policies they make are all going to impact your life in one way or another, so it is good to be in the know.

I will never get to have an interest in politics, it disgust me, it's a dirty game, especially where I'm originally from. Right here in the US, it gives people a two way impression, it always the same sound; the republican vs the democrats, it's all the same thing, they play the same game but on opposite sides of the coin. So whenever i need to get updated on what's happening, i just use the U.S news website or it's alternatives.
