Those were different times though. In the 70s and before, smoking tended to be allowed in many public places, such as office buildings, shopping malls, airplanes and so on, so it's not too surprising that it would have been allowd in a classroom. Obviously, smoking in class isn't allowed today...

Meh, I wouldn't care either way. There's plenty of people that I've worked with that had tattoos, it was never an issue. I guess it would be the same thing in school. I doubt somebody having a tattoo would somehow prevent others from learning.

Not really in favor of it. Besides, when I was in high school we would go out to eat at the nearby fast food restaurants, so it wouldn't have made much of a difference. There are also foods that seem "healthier" but actually aren't that much better than what is considered junk, such as juices...
