At first, I was thinking that this was kind of silly, but then it started to sink in and I realized what it was saying. Truly touching and inspiring. This reminds me of parents in general, because when the kids make a mistake, the parents have to clean up after them.

I really like how you have the seagull stepping into the water. It's kind of cool seeing the water breaking against the seagull's legs. I'm not much of a photographer, so I can't really give professional advice, but overall I like the picture!
